From more than 22,000 live oscars entries, National live oscars Geographic live oscars selected the winners of the National Geographic Photo Contest 2012. The pictures live oscars came from 150 countries, from professional photographers, amateurs and everything in between. The jury assessed the photos on creativity and photographic quality. The winner of the Grand Prize, Ashley Vincent, has won ten thousand dollars. The winners are divided into three categories: people, places and nature. It is the winner of the Grand Prize, there are two winners in the other categories, the winners chosen by the viewers (who could vote on the pictures), and honorable mentions. 1. Grand Prize Winner-National Geographic Photo Contest 2012: Tiger Busaba, a well cared for Indochinese woman, photographed in Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand.
