In case you missed it, Nicki Minaj’s long-winded performance Sunday at the Grammys was an Exorcist -themed sh*t show. The song itself, “Roman’s Holiday,” probably won’t be a hit, but Nicki’s main goal was to provoke and instigate. Which she did very well.
She even got the predictably out-of-touch Catholic League to wonder, “Is Nicki Minaj Possessed?” Now, Jebus knows we’re no fans of the Catholic Church but Nicki’s attempt to use Catholic imagery to be edgy has been done before, and better, by her Super Bowl co-star Madonna. Ms. Minaj should’ve stuck to what she does best: giving us buttloads of freaky-deeky sex appeal.
But do its transgressions surpass M.I.A.’s Super Bowl flip-off to America (below)? That move was criticized by both Nicki, who said she was “disappointed,” and Madge, who called the move childish and “irrelevant.”

The one fingered salute is mostly given by teenaged, entitled brats. When given by anyone over 21, it’s just embarrassing. Particularly so when MIA clearly didn’t have the courage of her convictions and go for it. Most people needed the slow motion replay to be sure she had done it in the first place. Missing in Action indeed.
WOW… tough question… I, and all those at the party, missed MIA’s finger. Someone caught it and then it viral… It was stupid and sadly took the focus off of the rest of the halftime show… Madonna did a great job.
When I saw Nicki on Ellen a few weeks ago… with the cute 5 yo’s I fell in love with her. she was sooo good with those girls. Then she showed up at the GA’s as red ridding hood I laughed, did not recognize he… then her performance (or lack of) had me change the channel… It made no sense… and we could not understand a word that she said

She should have consulted her gay man alter ego to give her some tips on style, performance and entertainment value. It was a disaster–protest or not. She only drew begative attention to herself, it made the church look pretty good in comparison. M.I.A. Who cares? It got her more attention than she deserves.
I didn’t watch the show as it had Madonna and she is horrible. I have heard niki Minaj sing/rap and she is the worst. She ruins every song she is on that could be good. Without seeing the halftime show I can bet Nikki Minaj was worst.

Open your eyes and don’t let the media distract you. If you’re honestly offended by her flipping off the camera and not by the sexual dancing in the background, then you’ve got some serious re-evaluating of your fragile moral and ethics, children.

the superbowl performance kanal 9 was all lip sycned except for cee lo greens kanal 9 part so that in itself is bad but nicki is just trying to be controversial and shes not very good at it oh and she also enlisted the help of lady gagas former choreographer kanal 9 laurieann gibson so it obvious shes trying to be controversial MIA isn’t even relevant anymore she had like five seconds on the madonna song – which is probably one of madonnas weakest songs to date
